A full-bodied Honduran cigar with a rich Cameroon wrapper and a flavorful Connecticut Broadleaf binder, Excalibur 1066 is named after the legendary sword of King Arthur and the historic Battle of Hastings. However the Dark Knight is on a course to ''shake up the kingdom''
The Dark Knight- just released- promises to be the most robust cigar in the current 1066 line-up from Excalibur. The Dark Knight has a different look from other selections in the 1066 brand. The unique wrapper looks like a Maduro with its blackish hue, but the makers claims the leaf hails from a tobacco plant -dark but not Maduro-grown in a very small region of the Connecticut River valley. The blend is a combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. A select broadleaf binder grown in the Connecticut River Valley further enhances the character of the cigar.
