    Founded in the winter of 1997, Blue Haze Cigar Co. grew out of a gathering of three cigar enthusiasts in a Chicago bar.  From the start it was self evident Blue Haze was not your normal cigar co.  From the colorful packaging to the reclusive owners there has always been a certain mistique surrounding the company.
   
The cigars, made by Carribean Cigar in Santiago, Dominican Republic, were based on the original Free Cuba Blend with certain variations.  The Evil Clown, Scorpion and Vamp have a Dominican and Indonesian filler, while the Insignia has Nicaraguan filler in the blend.  The binder is Indonesian and the wrapper is Java.
